Osborn, MO…….USAC Triple Crown Champion J.J. Yeley of Phoenix, Ariz. won Sunday night’s 35-lap USAC/SMRS Great Plains Midget race at US 36 Raceway by a slide job on the final lap. JJ led the first 17 laps, was passed by Kuhn on lap 11, JJ passed Brad Kuhn in his Triple Crown Racing/Stanton Racing Engines Beast/Stanton on lap 35 to win the race over Kuhn, Jerry Coons Jr., Bryan Clauson and Dave Darland. The USAC/SMRS Series continues Monday night at Butler County Motorplex in Rising City, Neb.
